The perfect companion to Ghosthack's 'Catalyst'
The name might be misleading, as 'Ultimate...' offers a wide range of loops and fills, a lot of them heavily edited. There is some amazing stuff in here, some refreshingly unique takes and some pleasantly weird ones as well ('Congas from Hell' anyone?). This One IS Not For Me
So I Purch aced his product and was very excited to hear it. But was I wrong. This is another Mashup of sounds that have nothing to do with percussion ( in my opinion) . Its got nothing to do with percussion.( unless you are from outer space). Its all just a bunch of noise. where is the tambourine, the woodblock. the cowbell the actual congas ( the ones they have are called abstraction congas...What? Is that even an instrument, Come on guys gimme a break here. I an trying to make real music with real instruments No offence as I am not trying to be rude but its more like ultimate dissapointment.

Great stuff
The samples are great, my only disappointment here is that there was no documentation readily available online on how use the samples within a sampler. it seems like its a given that the user will already know how to do that. I am not that great with the samplers and i was hoping i can find a way to use these straight up out of the box mapped to my midi controller.
